Risk Assessment of Earthquake–Landslide Hazard Chain Based on CF-SVM and Newmark Model—Using Changbai Mountain as an Example

Changbai Mountain is an important part of the development and opening pilot area Changjitu. It birthplace Songhua River, Yalu Tumen known as source three rivers. Millions people live in basin. A volcanic eruption accompanied by earthquakes would lead to a large number landslides, debris flows, show chain effect, formation secondary geological disaster chain, which serious threat people’s lives property safety. This paper selected indexes from aspects: hazard earthquake-induced exposure vulnerability disaster-bearing bodies, risk assessment chain. The sensitivity values each influence factor were calculated certainty (CF) using support vector machine, then, susceptibility was obtained. cumulative displacement Newmark model represented potential intensity. We considered earthquake–landslide example. results showed that extremely high areas mainly located within 12 km radius Tianchi Lake, other study associated with very low values. verification receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve 0.8373, indicating method effective identification seismic risk. In these high-risk areas, relevant countermeasures should be formulated prevent disasters, strengthen implementation regional prevention reduction work, ensure safety residents’ property.
